Swim Binder - Crop

It is truly SO AMAZING to have quality binders finally made in Australia. I’m going on a cruise tomorrow and didn’t even consider swim binders when I was shopping for this trip. Literally two weeks ago I started wondering if swim binders exist, and within a minute of googling I’d found the perfect product which I ended up holding in my hands within a week of ordering! I can only speak for the swim binders which of course aren’t going to have the tightest bind or flattest look in the world, but wearing mine I feel comfortable, secure, and truly don’t notice that I’m not 100% flat. I don’t think anybody else would notice either to be honest, nobody notices the difference between a tight bind and a comfortable bind apart from the person actually binding. When I’m snorkelling in the open ocean next week and I’m able to fully expand my lungs, feel zero dysphoria, prevent any further degradation/damage to my existing (non swim) binders, and enjoy full days without stressing about how long I’ve been binding or whether my sopping wet binder is going to chafe when I get out of the water, I’ll have Transform Transwear to thank. It really does dry as fast as my rash shirt and board shorts do, and the fabric feels just like really high quality swimwear. My holiday has already been improved tenfold by this purchase and the trip hasn’t even started yet! If this product existed but was coming from another country, it would still be good but might not have arrived in time for my trip. The fact that it was coming from Melbourne was the absolute cherry on top of a phenomenal find (please keep paying to show up in google suggestions, it’s worth it!!) and I will definitely be trying their normal binders as well. I just googled the company and it was started by a mum and trans masc son to solve issues he was experiencing with normal binders. It’s so beautiful to live in a time where companies and products like this exist, please keep doing this as long as you’re able to. You’ve got a lifelong supporter in me, thank you so much for what you do for all of us.

I bought a swim binder in green, great colour, seaweed vibes. I was curious when I first received it because it is not made from typical swim Lycra. It has a much more cottony feel and the front panel doesn’t have much stretch (for compression), but the back panel stretches comfortably. It feels like the front panel has a few layers of fabric. My full chest size is 127cm and I got a 3xl, it is a little loose on the upper chest and armpit area. But it was comfortable and had the desired flattening effect I wanted. I wore it in a hybrid salt water chlorine pool, it felt comfortable and safe to swim in I didn’t feel out of breath or like it was too heavy (I wondered because of the the thicker fabric). It does hold more water than Lycra, but I didn’t find that to cause any issues. I also had a rash vest over the top for sun protection but it has enough coverage and good shaping that I would have been happy wearing the binder on its own in public. I didn’t even notice it while in the water. It stayed in place, didn’t roll up or slide or anything. Shape didn’t change when wet. After I washed in the washing machine and hang dried, held up after first use. I look forward to wearing it many more times to come. Thanks Transform, this is a good product.

This swim binder is going to be life changing for me!
After a decade of not being able to comfortably swim, I bought this swim binder and used it for the first time yesterday. I wore it as a normal binder throughout the day earlier and found that I was comfortably able to wear it while exercising with 0 issues. Wearing it in the pool for the first time felt insane, as I can't remember the last time I didn't have to overly hunch my shoulders to hide my chest while swimming.
I additionally bought a tank style daily binder and after wearing it out today am just as happy with it as I am the swim binder!
The only note I have is that, if you have a stomach on the larger side such as myself, you may find that the tank style binders ride up a bit- nothing drastic but just something to keep in mind!
Words cannot explain how happy I am with this purchase, especially after having to go a few years without binding after being sent unsafe binders for extreme prices from drop shippers and then dealing with a huge decline in quality from GC2B. These binders are wonderful and I am so happy to have them.

I recently took my teenager to Transform Transwear.
This Richmond shop was easy to get to via public transport.
The staff were welcoming and informative provided several different binder options to my child who glad to be properly measured and fitted for a binder.
They found the whole process supportive and not too intrusive.

We purchased a regular overhead crop binder and he wore it out of shop. So far he is comfortable in this binder and is finding it less restrictive than he is used to.

We also bought an swim/active binder. He wore it to the gym and found it comfortable but not as compressive as the regular binder with it acting more like a sports bra/top.

This would have been a 4.5 stars if that was an option with the swim binder only losing points for not being as compressive as he would have liked.

This shop and its workers are an absolute gem! I purchased my first binder and binder swim top which staff catered to my body. If you are the type of person who prefers to try clothes in person without the risk of ill fitted purchases, this is the place for you. All and every trans individuals will feel safe and well looked after. I can’t stop raving about the store and its staff! Well done, Theo ☺️

bought a swimming binder here and it is such a comfortable binder and compresses very well. I have been binding for 5 years and so far this is one of the most comfortable binders I’ve worn.

I got the swim binder in a xxl and it's incredible! when i first put it on, i was worried it didn't flatten as well as i wanted just because of how comfortable it is! my first thought was that it only felt as tight as a sports bra so i was slightly concerned but it flattens really well and has become a day to day option as well as my swim binder.

On top of the amazing binder, costumer service was incredible. it was available for pick up almost immediately and even though i wasn't able to pick it up myself, it was very easy to organise for my friend to pick it up for me!

I love the swim binder! Can’t wait to test it out at the beach :)
